About EMC

Energy consulting built for the realities of St. Kitts and Nevis

EMC has been working in energy management for more than 10 years. We design, install, and look after solar energy systems for businesses and homeowners across St. Kitts and Nevis, with the financial discipline and quality standards that protect your investment over the long term.

What Makes EMC Different

Most solar installers sell equipment. EMC sells outcomes: lower electricity bills, predictable energy costs, and a system that delivers what was promised for decades. The difference is in how we get there.

When we estimate how much electricity your system will produce, we use cautious assumptions. Many installers project best-case numbers to make their savings look bigger. EMC models for real-world conditions, which means our proposals are more likely to underestimate your savings than overstate them. We would rather you be pleasantly surprised than disappointed.

Every installation goes through six mandatory quality inspections. Licensed local contractors do the hands-on work under EMC's direct supervision. No stage of construction moves forward without being verified and photographed. This is not a guideline. It is a hard stop.

Single Point of Accountability

When you work with EMC, you have one contract, one project manager, and one phone number to call. We order equipment from the world's leading manufacturers, handle shipping and customs, supervise the installation, coordinate with SKELEC, and monitor your system from the day it is switched on.

You never manage contractors, chase warranty claims across multiple suppliers, or wonder who is responsible when something needs attention. That is EMC's job.

Equipment Standards

EMC uses equipment from the world's top-rated solar manufacturers, each with 25-year warranties and proven performance across millions of installations. All battery systems use lithium iron phosphate chemistry: the safest, longest-lasting battery type available, rated for 15+ years of daily use with a 10-year manufacturer warranty. Mounting systems are built to withstand Category 4+ hurricane winds. Every component is selected for Caribbean conditions, not copied from a mainland template.

Beyond Installation

EMC is not a company that installs panels and disappears. In your first year, system monitoring is included with every project. From Year 2 onward, maintenance contracts cover scheduled cleaning and inspections, annual performance reports, and ongoing adjustments to keep your system running at its best.

We also coordinate equipment insurance through regional providers, protecting your investment against hurricane damage, equipment failure, and business interruption. For clients who want it, premium monitoring provides monthly reporting, anomaly alerts, and proactive optimization recommendations.

A solar system is a long-term asset. EMC offers services for the life of the equipment: monitoring, maintenance, insurance coordination, and expansion planning.

Our Standards

Built for the Caribbean. Documented to institutional standards.

Cautious Estimates

Our savings projections assume real-world conditions, not best-case scenarios. The numbers in our proposals are designed to be beaten, not missed. We also show you how the investment performs under different conditions, so you can see the range of outcomes before you commit.

Built for Caribbean Weather

All mounting structures are rated for Category 4+ hurricane winds. Equipment insurance arranged through regional providers. We design for the weather here, not around it.

Financing & Insurance

EMC facilitates project financing through regional lending partners and equipment insurance through regional insurers. We remove the capital and risk barriers that keep good projects on hold.
